A. Historical walk through Agde town centre

Agde, “the black pearl of the Mediterranean”, an expression attributed to Marco POLO, is a town rich in history. CAP NATURE is offering a historical tour of Agde town centre by canoe, lasting around two hours. The originality of this tour, which is not chronological, is to evoke the history of the town of Agde as it flows along the water. During the visit, the history of the following monuments is evoked: La maison de la consigne sanitaire, La ville grecque, Le moulin des Evêques, Le Château Laurens, Le canal du Midi, La cathédrale Saint-Etienne

B. Sea trip Fort-De-Brescou
Built in 1586, Fort de Brescou is located on the island of Brescou, near the entrance to the Richelieu port at Cap d’Agde. The fort was used as a state prison until its final closure in 1855. Closed to the public and to guided tours since 2005, it is currently being restored. It is listed as a historic monument.
Option 1 : Fort de Brescou
The tour departs from the Ile des Loisirs car park, located behind the Amnésia nightclub. Leave the port in the direction of Fort Brescou. Once you arrive at Fort Brescou, you can choose between a swim or a tour of the island.

Option 2 : Fort de Brescou – La Grande conque
The starting point is the same as the first option. Leave the port in the direction of the Brescou fort, walk around Brescou, continue along the coast to the Grande Conque and return to the starting point. This will give you the chance to discover the famous legend of the rocks of the two brothers.

C. NATURE WALK AT ETANG DU CLOT
The Etang du Clôt of Vias is located on the right bank of the Hérault, behind the Tamarissière beach in Agde. It is listed as a natural heritage site. The starting point is the boat launch at the Ponant car park, on the road to Grau-d ‘Agde. There are two different itineraries to choose from, depending on your experience.
Option 1 : River and pond
The course is open to all, adults and children alike, offering a leisurely cruise on the river Hérault and the étang, covering a distance of 5km.
This activity includes the chance to take a sunny break on the Tamarissière beach and swim in the sea.
